Where We Actually Eat When We Are in Mililani
We spend a lot of time in Mililani showing homes, meeting clients, and handling inspections. That means we have eaten at just about every restaurant in town. Here are the spots we genuinely go back to, not because someone is paying us to say it, but because the food is that good.
Mililani Restaurant Row at Town Center
The Mililani Town Center area is where most of the dining action is. You have got a solid mix of local plate lunch spots, fast casual chains, and a few hidden gems. We personally love grabbing a quick plate from L and L Hawaiian Barbecue when we are between showings. Their chicken katsu never misses. For something a little more sit-down, Assaggio has been a Mililani staple for Italian food for years.
Breakfast and Coffee
If you are a morning person, Mililani has you covered. We are regulars at the Starbucks near Mililani Shopping Center, but if you want something more local, check out the smaller bakeries and cafes tucked into the strip malls. Fresh malasadas and a good cup of Kona coffee is how a lot of our mornings start when we are working this side of the island.
Local Favorites and Plate Lunch
Hawaii runs on plate lunch and Mililani is no exception. Zippy's is a community staple here. It is the kind of place where you will see families, construction crews, and retirees all sitting together at lunch. Their chili and fried chicken combo is legendary for a reason. We also love the poke options at Foodland, which is a grocery store but honestly has some of the best poke on the island.
Dinner and Date Night
For a nicer dinner without driving into town, there are several solid options right in Mililani. We have taken clients to dinner at local spots after closings, and it always feels like a celebration without the Honolulu traffic. The key is that you do not have to leave the neighborhood to have a great meal.
Thinking about making Mililani home? Reach out to the Kristy and Austin Home Group at eXp Realty. We will show you around the neighborhood and maybe grab a plate lunch along the way.
